1. Hindus denied the right to cremate in Meghalaya

Report: Hindus of Tura town- Garo Hills, Meghalaya are under continuous pressure from local NGOs for abandoning present cremation ground which they are using for so many years. Hindus have valid land documents of ownership but still they are being harassed.

2. Lord Krishna Temple Desecrated by Planting Buffalo Head

Report: Anti-nationals, have yet again plotted one of their heinous tricks in instigating communal violence in Mangadu, by planting a buffalo’s head in Balagopala Krishna Temple in Molothungaal. The desecration has been done in a temple that was reinstated just last month.

Report: During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Bangladesh , the local Hindu community stated they live in “constant fear of persecution” by the religious fundamentalists and wanted the Indian leader to take note of this and raise it with the Bangladeshi leadership. “The religious majority and the fundamental groups want the Hindus to leave this country, where we are born and brought up,” said Rana Dasgupta, general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council.

    Attack on Dalits take place in a locality where a particular caste is dominant. It is not an attack by larger Hindus on Dalits. In Tamil Nadu for instance, where Vanniyars are major caste group, they are confronting Dalits. In south Tamil Nadu, Thevar Community is confronting Dalits often. These clashes should not be construed as a clash between Dalits and Hindus in general. Only a broader Hindu awakening in a lightening fashion will eradicate these type of clashes throughout the country.

      “In Tamil Nadu for instance, where Vanniyars are major caste group, they are confronting Dalits.” Can anyone explain the why is there confrontation in the 1st place?
      Is it a crime for a dalit to fall in love with an “upper” caste girl?
      Should it lead to burning of houses?

    Again no mention of attacks on dalits.
    It seems only attacks by other communities matter.
