Sushma Swaraj bats for Congress
The evil empire that the Congress spawned after Independence is fighting tooth and nail against the outsider, Narendra Modi. For the popes and bishops and the barons and dukes of ancien regime know it too well that if he comes to power, it would not be a change of government but a change of regime. They dread this change, for they know that he would not be an Atal Bihari Vajpayee who would attune himself with the imperatives of Congress-style governance. Hence the various hurdles in Modi’s march to South Block.
Modi has to deal with not only the stunts of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the shenanigans of the grand old party, and the pro-Congress intellectuals but also elements within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) who favor status quo.
Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj is one of those who fear that if the Congress system is removed, she would be marginalized; this is the reason that she has started making ridiculous demands.
In her tweets, she expressed her opposition to the planned merger of B. Sreeramulu’s BSR Congress with the BJP in Karnataka and Haryana minister Venod Sharma’s attempt to enter the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance through the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) of Kuldeep Bishnoi. Sushma’s proximity to Sreeramulu and the Reddy brothers is not a secret; equally well known are the facts that the Reddys and Sreeramulu are close associates, that they are alleged to be involved in illegal mining, and that they enjoyed the patronage of Swaraj. And now, just because Sreeramulu’s joining the BJP would strengthen the saffron party in Karnataka, and thus brighten Modi’s prospects, she resists the merger. It appears to be a clear case of sabotage.
In the case of Venod Sharma, spitefulness acquires preposterous dimensions. The former Congress leader is not even joining the BJP, and yet the madam is perturbed. As for Sharma, there is no corruption case against him. The worst things that can be said about him are that he is the father of Manu Sharma of the Jessica Lal case and was accused of influencing the investigation. Yet, no illegality has been proved against Venod Sharma. So, why the angry tweets?
The answer does not require a PhD in political science. Over the years, Sushma Swaraj has come very close to Congress president Sonia Gandhi. The relations became so cordial that in her last speech in the Lok Sabha, she called Sonia a graceful leader. One has to be a 10, Janpath, lackey to believe that, for Sonia presided over two governments which would be remembered for unprecedented venality, colossal incompetence, and mindboggling shamelessness. Graceful!?
The friendship between Swaraj and Sonia was evident in Johannesburg where the duo had gone to attend the memorial service of anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela. The two had lunch together at a five-star hotel soon after the memorial service. Even if such excursions could be ignored as a private matter, the way the principal Opposition party had allowed the government to further its perverse agenda cannot be overlooked. For instance, Swaraj said that the Food Security Bill was “half-baked,” but she ensured that the BJP supported it. In general, she did little to make the government appear miserable in the Lok Sabha, as her censure of the UPA lacked bite.
And now Swaraj is doing her best to jeopardize Modi’s campaign.

Sushma, Advani, Jaswant are all birds of the same feather. They cannot tolerate anyone who is really better than them or anyone wearing a white shirt. Such vengeful beings are most DANGERABLE (if not dangerous) This is the curse to all Hindus in India from 7th century.
That is the reason why majority Hindus of India are voiceless in a minority Islam & British favouring pseudo secularists Governments for ages.
Let Modi become the PM to make them realise how wrong they were and are with their own skew-eyed outlook..This is the reason why the progeny of Gia Suddin Kazi (a Kotwal in the court of Zafar Shaw in 1857 renaming himself as Gangadhar Nehru stying himself as Kashmiri Pandit!!!!!!!!) are still ruling India with their real name Maimuna Begam (outwardly Indiara Gandhi) etc.
I agree.
PSVENUGOPAL: could u please tell me what things Mr. Modi spoke while campaigning which were then different from what happened in reality ?
probably you are correct. when the activities of BJP are observed Mr MODI speaks of one thing in public at the time of campaign the same is not maintained in parliament. same is done in many instances. we were having a good opinion on BJP . but due to recent developments that was erased..compared to VAJPAYEE JI ADVANI WAS VAGREESIVE AND LESS COMMITTED. BUT TODAYs position has became too worst
In market culture introduced and exploited by the sneaky clever traders and buyers and sellers for maximizing their personal GDP growth at the cost of others, their processes including those of fixing etc are infectious and infection is strong for those who esire quick and easy wealth without adding any real value to the life of people;;;
many leaders in all parties sit on fence or keep mysterious silence if they do not like leadership imposed on them by their own party majority, then work secretly like persons who sabotage party interest like the gaddars of old. it can only be seen that the politicians of today are all merchants and not national leaders

For me the clinching point was digvijay singhs comment on Modi ‘s elevation to PM candidate. Why Modi, why not sushma.. was his question.
“Cinna Amma” – as she wants to be called in Telengana (Peria Amma is Soniaji)
You forgot to mention her eagerness in supporting Telangana despite the knowledge that it will harm BJP politically. This is a true depiction of her.
Don’t you think people like venod sharma & Sreeramulu will destroy the image of Modi in public eyes. People will see it as Modi supporting some tainted minister. I know that ss is against Modi but calling these 2 men will be detrimental for BJP. People already questioned ram jethmalini defending manu sharma ( even though ram was right at his place) & now father joining BJP will give wrong signal. In today’s time such wrong signal can be magnified further with help of social media. It will also give pro naxal AAP a point to shout and grab the attention.
I agree with your analysis.
I may not agree completely with Mr. Ravi as far as the argument of FSB is concerned…. Sushma made some valid points in Lok Sabha regarding this bill and BJP opposed it to significant extent…. But remember BJP and its allies has not more than 125 MPs in Lok Sabha… Furthermore creating ruckus in Lok Sabha on this bill would have backfired on BJP since Congress and its allies along with friendly media would have labelled BJP as anti-poor and gullible people in our nation would have believed them…. In fact it may not be possible for next govt. also to revoke these bills in the near future in the fear of being labelled as anti-poor….
Sushma swaraj did the right thing by opposing corruption. moral values and honesty these are things over and above party politics. but i pity author of this article mr ravi. never before in my life i have read any one so shamelessly supporting corruption. he is finding fault even with previous vajpayee government . humanity is really ashamed with this article.
Well said. 100% correct. For some reason, she doesn’t like Modi as P.M.
