On 18 October, IndiaFacts published the first part of a series investigating the funding sources, its modus operandi and other activities of the Michigan based evangelical organization, Mission India. The expose ran in three parts and concluded on 21 October.
The second part of the series exposed the ownership of DTK Hospitality Tours Pvt Ltd, a beneficiary of Mission India USA. According to the data obtained from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the following were listed as directors of DTK:
- Kenneth Alan Hoving
- David Edward Bustraan
- Ronald Gene Vander Griend
However, when IndiaFacts followed up on Mission India, the following change came to light on 27 October 2014:
As is clear from the picture, DTK Hospitality has appointed a new Director named Paturi John Paul, Indian citizen on 23 Sep 2014. The other non-Indian directors remain in tact. However, the following screenshot taken on 30 September 2014 reveals that Paturi was nowhere in the picture as on that date.
What is also interesting is the fact that Paturi John Paul is also the Director of another company named J&J Hotmax Pvt Ltd, Hyderabad, which describes itself as “an environmental specialist in the field of pollution free disposal of various kinds of waste.” Its clientele includes these sectors among others:
- Municipal Corporations
- Military Engineering Services
- Public Sector / Central Government
- State Governments
- Chemical Industries Refineries
- Corporate Hospitals and Medical Colleges
As the various evangelism exposes on IndiaFacts show, the missionaries and evangelical organizations have taken deep roots and have spread wide across India.
