A 45-year old Hindu priest, Shaymanonda Das, was hacked to death in front of a temple in Jhinaidah district headquarter, 300km south west from the capital Dhaka in Bangladesh on July 1, 2016.
In Chakkarakkal region in Kerala, a RSS leader’s house was damaged in a bomb attack on the morning of July 1, 2016. The house that came under attack belonged to RSS Seva Pramukh M V Jayarajan. In the attack, window panes and front door were damaged.

Four RSS activists were hacked and severely injured after CPM workers hurled bombs at them at Muzhakunnu panchayat in Kannur on August 25, 2016. Police said that a gang of 30 people, allegedly belonging to the CPM, threw crude bomb on them and hacked them with sharp weapons.
RSS Muzhukunnu Mandalam Karyavahak P Sujesh, 31, of Thilankery, N Santhosh, 25, of Muzhukunnu, Deepesh,26, of Thilankery and Arun,25, of Muzhukunnu were injured in the attack.
