Rahul Just Doesn’t Have It

Every time I sit down at my computer to put down my thoughts on the present scenario of India I feel utterly dejected and disgusted — rather confused, that I give it up.

For one I am at a loss on where to begin and where to end.

It seems a continuous, unending chain of deception of the Indian people by the Congress led by Mrs Sonia Gandhi.

I think she must not think that she can fool the people of this country all the time. Her great renunciation was a big farce because she knew that she would not be able to manage India.

The sad part is she also wanted someone who would not change the abysmal state of the country. She hence very shrewdly  and cleverly picked  Manmohan Singh whom she knew had no guts and was incapable of governing. He was and would be good perhaps in a classroom. She also detected one his personality traits. He is malleable . That is what she wanted and thus  picked him up and not Pranab Mukerjee to be the PM. All this and the rest is history.

But it is a sad refection of a woman who is Italian by birth and mind set undermining the Indian people and its ability to fight back. But she with her ruthless ‘omerta’ quietly put in place all the Nehru-Gandhi coterie-family and toadies.

She also got the National Advisory council comprising of her ‘Yes men and women’-she became the chairperson-an extra Constitutional power center. The NAC was functioning as a super-parliament thereby undermining the Parliament and the process of governance.

This NAC drafted legislative bills, made recommendations which she forwarded to the PM who in his characteristic way, meekly accepted. We had thus ten years of no governance except Mrs Sonia Gandhi’s diktat –this was all the governance India had.

But all along she nursed her one obsession– to make her son Rahul Gandhi the next PM. Till such a time she found Manmohan Singh a very malleable person who would keep the PM’s chair warm till Rahul took over.

Thus the process of grooming Rahul started in all earnest. What she failed to see with her partiality as a mother was that Rahul was no Prime Minister material.

Ghulam Nabi Azad and other sycophants failed to see the zero of a man, and with their jaundiced eyes viewed him as a hero.

> One is reminded of the story of the king who thought he was dressed in splendor–a  make-believe which his courtiers very well adapted. Dressed in his so called magnificent ‘clothes’ he went in a procession-Not one dared to reveal the absurdity and the simple truth. It was a child who shouted out, ‘The King has no clothes’.

This is the apt analogy for what is happening with the Rahul Gandhi’s continuing grooming as Great Leader.  The Congress and his mother fail to see that he is simply not capable of the task they want him to take up. He is no stuff for Prime Minister–not even for a leader.

>  The Congress party which has absolutely no respect for the Constitution now swears by the Constitution for every little action and happening. Unfortunately for Mrs Sonia Gandhi and her party  the people of India which her Italian mindset could not gauge had greater insights and voted en mass for a change in government.

Thus the BJP came to power with Modiji as the PM.This has upset her plans and the Congress is all out with its courtiers and coterie and sycophants to by hook or crook to destabilize the government and pull down Modi. The media goes along with their designs. Because Mrs Sonia Gandhi-the Italian woman has no real love for the country and under her the Congress wanted to keep the country and its people perpetually in the shackles of poverty and backwardness.

The events that we witness-the media’s continuing zealotry is a testimony of this. One can take at least a few incidents and events and political statements to prove this.

This is exactly what is happening in the country. If in a state a man is lynched no matter what the reason be-if a dalit house gets torched and in the process two children are burned it is Modi who is to be blamed for it all.

Opposition leaders who think that every incident against dalits–BCs, OBCs, Muslims are all because of Modi then are they simply crazy and off the track. This is what VK Singh meant when he mentioned that even if a dog is killed it is blamed on Modi.

There was such an uproar-Mayavati (who goes to London for her hairdressing) wants to throw VK Singh in jail. Why misinterpret the language? If a person is lynched because of bee, then again it is Modi’s fault.  If farmers commit suicide then it’s again Modi’s fault., If fishermen are in agitation it is again Modi. If the FTII students are on strike it is Modi and his regime to blame.

The target is Modi and only Modi.

But that all these incidents are in the States and that it is the responsibility of the States to tackle these is conveniently ignored. Had Modi interfered otherwise in other governance matters then it would be said that he is a dictator. And everyone will scream that Federalism is at stake.

Where does Rahul Gandhi figure in all this?

In all places and in all incidents of intolerance-communal discord, turmoil- Rahul is there in the front line to stoke the burning fires. Is he politically mature?

From what he says and in his actions he seems to want only trouble for Modi and not peace and harmony for India. His utterances are so childish one is troubled that his mother could even dare to project him as the PM candidate.

He uses a few catchy, vacuous slogans and thinks that he is making a profound point. So for some time it was his ‘Suit boot ka sarkar’. The media went gaga and his sycophants made it appear that he had stated something historic!

Rahul Gandhi

To all disgruntled sections he promises that he would stand by them. What I cannot understand is why does he always point out that Modi had not visited the victims? Modi has time to visit other countries but cannot visit you. He instigates the victims. But he forgets that Modi is the PM and it is his duty to visit other countries.

Why does he demand that Modi has not reacted to incidents of intolerance? Did Manmohan Singh visit the families of farmers’ who had committed suicides? Did Manmohan Singh make any comment or condemn violent acts of communalism? Even when Mumbai witnessed a bloodbath from an enemy nation, Manmohan Singh had no comments. Neither did Sonia Gandhi have anything to say. All that the UPA government, its Home Minister did, was to appeal for calm.

Did Rahul’s mother have any answer for Nirbahya’s horrendous rape right in the capital of the country and that too in a public transport? It was the Congress who was in power both at the State and in the Center.

And then look at Rahul Gandhi who rushes to Pune to the FTII and assures the protesting students that he is with them. Does he really know the problem of the FTII? He even asks them to go to Delhi and promise them to raise the issue in Parliament.  The fact remains that the FTII has a long history of Cultural Delinquency.

Look at those who headed it:  all had political leanings–Mirnal Sen was a Leftist, Mahesh Bhatt was a Congress supporter and he even campaigned for the Congress. Girish Karnad is rabidly anti BJP and opposed Modi as the PM. UR Ananthamurthy too, was vocally opposed to the BJP and to make it clear, he stood for elections to fight the BJP.  It is a clear case that Gajendra Chauhan is a BJP supporter and hence the opposition to his appointment.

And so Rahul Gandhi jumps into the fray and is ready to take up the issue. Of course, it was fine when the Congress packed every institution with its men and women.

The Congress and the Opposition is just communalizing every issue. If rape is committed and the victim is a Muslim then it is communalism and the Hindutuva forces are the ones which perpetuate it. But daily in the newspapers, when we read of rapes of Hindus by Muslims, there’s selective silence.

Why does Rahul Gandhi, his mother and the Congress see in every brutal killing a religious dimension? Rahul Gandhi must realize the ethos of this country–he must feel it and sense it. He cannot disappear at frequent intervals and then return to make statements which are stupid and immature.

I remember some years ago a leading English new paper screamed in its headlines that a church was vandalized. Later it was discovered that a window pane broke because of a cracker. This was printed in a corner inside one of the pages. I rang up the editor and asked him why it was not given headlines. Similarly when three nuns were raped in Jabhua in MP it was immediately telecasted and printed that Hindus were the perpetuators. But when probed it was discovered that dacoits and tribals were involved and 12 of them were Christians. That was not given publicity.

Today Christian  schools and churches are targeted for its money and wealth–it attracts robbers and dacoits mostly migrants–and not for its religious character.

But the opposition  gives it a religious color and brings in communalism. It is the political parties that abet and keep alive communalism for vote bank purposes.

Recently the Sahitya Akademi award winners have registered their protests against the growing intolerance in the country. To make their point about 33 returned their awards. It was ridiculous because the awards were not given during Modi’s regime and how many of them protested against the imposition of Emergency and later against the abrogation of democracy by Sonia and her party? How many protested when the poor divorcee Shah Bano was denied her dues? How many protested when Rajiv Gandhi banned Salman Rushie’s book to please one community?

If one scrutinizes the names of those who are in various panels, committees and Trusts and national institutions it will be clear that they are the Congress’ handpicked coterie of the Nehru-Gandhi family.

The latest utterance of Rahul Gandhi is that Modiji is trained by the RSS to tell lies. ‘But you are the PM’ so he requests him to stop telling lies.

See who is talking about lies and what sense of probity does Rahul have?  He further states that he knows the DNA of the RSS. Does he?

One wonders what he is aiming at and what he wants to get across to the people. In reality, Rahul Gandhi is a self-made disaster. Does he have no other topic, no grievance, no models, no vision of India which he would like to share? What did his mother do? She and Manmohan Singh had no government at all.  Yet Rahul dares to question Modi who is doing exceptionally well on all fronts.

It is not for the PM to be running around to Kalvathi’s hut or take a minister from the UK  to see the backyard of a Dalit.

Then Rahul reverts to the comment of VK Singh. This is only a way of talking when one says that even if a dog is killed the blame is on Modi. That does not imply that the Dalits were referred as dogs.  He forgets that his father uttered callous and insensitive remarks in Parliament against Arun Shourie and Jaipal Reddy.

The nation is fully aware of the ten years of the UPA and what it has achieved. Nay, for more than 55 years the Congress party was in power and today it has the sick mind to talk of poverty and backwardness and communalism that is  ever growing. Who abetted, foisted & nurtured these? If this country is still backward and in poverty the sole responsibility rests on the Congress.

It wants to keep the country in this state perpetually. Hence the one PM who India has seen since Independence who really works and who has a positive vision for India,  the Congress wants to target and pull him down.

Is it not strange that Rahul Gandhi has not questioned Abhilesh Yahav for the lynching of a man in Dadri?  Is it not strange that the Sahitya Akademi award winners and the media is not questioning Siddaramaniah who is the CM of Karnataka and Mrs Sonia Gandhi for the murder of the rationalist?  How is Modi answerable and responsible?

It must not be forgotten that communalism was injected into this country’s polity by the Congress.

Rahul Gandhi thinks that politics is child’s play and one big ‘tamasha’. The people are fully aware that a family name is nothing and cannot be the criterion for leadership.

The Nehru-Gandhi family name has lost its sheen. Rahul Gandhi must prove himself which he simply cannot. He has so far contributed nothing and the way he is going about his political journey will eventually lead  him deeper  into the wilderness.

A zero cannot become a hero.

nac was a form of colonialism. heck, it was verily colonialism.
it is a shame the bjp in the opposition then did not see it right.
it was left to namo to coin the term shehzada for raul and sultanate for the dillie regime – all which was right on the money.
arun shouri was quiet then, lapping it up, but now is getting ugly against our duly elected wonderful pm namo.

Supreme Court today asked for the review of Muslim Personal Law and said it is against Gender equality. Nobody from media or opposition made any issue out of it. I wonder what would have happened if Modi made a statement of review of Muslim Personal Law. Will there had been such a silence over the issue? I remember what happened when Mohan Bhagwat asked for a review of Reservation system. Whole media went crazy.

Rahul Gandhi ji – Last year his accurate birth time became public. Rahu aspected by jupiter (sixth lord of aggression) will reveal his true aggressive nature and delusional mind in later years. Unfortunately he is surrounded by people who put poison in his mind. I foresee a lot of lawsuits in his rahu dasa. Let us pray and hope that he does something constructive in life for himself let alone help Bharat.

Why this much space for a mediocre person? To me a thoughtful capitalist. a brilliant communist, a smart socialist or a well read atheist or agnostic is hundred times better than a dumb know-nothing ideologue from the Left or from the Right. Some of the biggest capitalists are converts or those converting. If you are giving this much importance to a mediocre man, who should neither be vilified nor taken seriously, what does that say about you?

Only cheap not-so-smart people spend their time talking about people who are not worth much.

      • Krispy K says:

Those are economic indicators of “ease of doing business”, which show a clear improvement in one year of a Congress-free government. What other information is there that disproves the contention that Congress were utterly incompetent between 2004-2014?

You people are really scraping the barrel now. Providing a link and some empty rhetoric about “truth” (a word you people should be banned from ever using), all the while hoping people just take you at your word without checking, is about as cheap as it gets.

          • Krispy K says:

So it took you two days to dig out an article that remotely reflected the impression you wanted to project, and in the process no doubt pretended not to see even more articles that didn’t. What’s your point? There’s an article in a publication not exactly known for their objectivity towards BJP and Modi, that puts a dampener on things while quoting someone whom most BJP supporters agree should have been in the government even if he wasn’t miffed at his treatment, clearly BJP are a disaster and we should put Congress back in charge?

Does any hypothetical failure by the current BJP government imply that we should bring Congress and your Gandhi masters back to power tomorrow? “Some people say Modi isn’t doing as well as hoped, he clearly hasn’t made India Number One after 18 whole months (which is all down to the fact that he is a fascist and will murder all minorities blah blah rhubarb 2002 rhubarb etc.), following 10 short years of unmitigated Congress disaster (which was all due to policy paralysis, heatwaves, and the colour of Modi’s trousers, rather than incompetence and self-serving objectives, honest it was) the solution obviously is to put that same Congress back in charge, let’s put Antonia’s rusty chains back on so she and her bastard family can milk us for another 10 years, all the while continuing to nurture this despicable culture of denigrating Hindu sentiments at every turn and treating us as second-class, yes this is the obvious way forward”? Erm… no.

The one thing about Modi is that, despite all the desperate Congress propaganda over the years, he has a strong track record of success. And his desire and efforts to serve the people of this country, rather than a single family and their interests, is unquestioned. You’d have to be stupid or a socialist (tautology there) to want to replace him after 18 months with the same people that put this country in that mess in the first place. If he doesn’t cut the mustard by the end of his term, taking ten steps backwards by reappointing Congress is not the answer. One doesn’t alleviate the pain of a sprained wrist by cutting off two legs.

Most people are quite satisfied with his efforts and progress in economic, developmental and geopolitical areas, even if progress is not as quick or as smooth as desired. What some of us are worrying about is that he seems to be neglecting the equally important area of ridding this country of Congress and their slaves, and working to destroy Nehruvianism for good. Most people understand very clearly that those scumbags would happily burn this country to the ground if they can’t have it.

Ultimately, you will reject anything that doesn’t toe the Congress line. And for the rest of us, any article written by Congress-leaning “journalists” (i.e. Gandhi slaves) will be dumped in the toilet where it belongs. Congress have cried wolf so much over the decades that no amount of increase in volume or frequency of the same cries, or repetition in different ways, tones and languages, will fool the people anymore. So give it up already.

  7. NARAYAN RAO says:

All this discussion of the faults of Rahul Gandhi , Sonia Gandhi and anyone else who is not in power at present will not deflect the attention of people from the shortcomings of those in power.

Modi and the present BJP government came to power with a mandate to deliver on their election promises. Unless you can prove that Rahul Gandhi , Sonia Gandhi and the rest of the Opposition is preventing Modi and the BJP government in their efforts to fulfill their commitments to the people of this country , no amount of discrediting the Gandhis or the Opposition will hold water.

If the Gandhis are absolutely black in their sins , Modi and the BJP are not pristine white in their purity ; they are probably a shade lighter , that’s all. The BJP should stop this holier than thou attitude , and start cleaning up their house before throwing mud at others. Before you know it , it will be 2019 , and the BJP will have nothing to show for it.

As it is , all of the good news on the economic front is to a great extent because of the fall in oil prices ; neither has manufacturing picked up , nor have any new industries been set up ; sooner rather than later India Inc. will lose their patience with Modi’s constant bombast and demand rather than merely expect results. Look to deliver.

    • P. B. Josh says:

Shortcomings of those in power? Did you read in just one year of Modi Sarkar India jumped 12 places for ‘Ease of Doing Business’ category? Of course media gives it and media takes it away. Now they say India jumped only four places ! But still four places in one year. India jumped nine places in corrupted country category in positive way again in one year. Besides, this article is not just about Rahul, it is mostly about hypocrisy of pseudo secular of India.

      • NARAYAN RAO says:

Please do not get enticed by such eye-catching headlines ; if you go to the following website :

        http://www.doingbusiness.org

you can download reports for all the years from 2004 onwards.

You might be surprised to know that the rankings for the years 2011 onwards were :

        132 . 134 , 132 , 134 , 142

It is only in the previous year that India slipped badly ; much of it could be attributed to the policy paralysis that gripped the UPA in the last year of its second term.

If you disregard this slippage , the improvement during the first year of the present BJP government has been slight.

Even otherwise , we do not need statistics to prove anything when we can see that nothing has changed so dramatically on the ground , given that we are seeing dal prices go through the roof.

        • Krispy K says:

Where’s the “proof” that the 142 ranking was due to “policy paralysis”? Or is that just your opinion, being stated as fact?

Regardless of the reason, it’s still a 12-place jump in one year. And higher than all the years you’ve listed (assuming you’ve written the numbers accurately; when people like you say the sky the blue, one must look up to double check). Why should one disregard this “slippage” as you try to dismiss it, simply because it doesn’t suit your argument? Don’t answer that, the answer is in the question.

And dal prices? Is that the only indicator of how well the government is doing? Or are you just cherry-picking some random stuff somewhere to suit what you want to project? That’s a rhetorical question, no reply necessary.

And we “don’t need statistics” to prove anything? So when it suits the Congress argument, what’s “obvious” on the ground (i.e. something specific like today’s dal prices, yes that looks good, let’s take that as if that’s the only thing in the universe that one measures success by) is a clear indicator of governmental failure, and statistics are moot. But when it comes to highlighting Congress failures, and consistent, visible efforts to derail Modi at every turn, as everybody who isn’t a self-absorbed champion of “secularism” can see, hard “proof” is necessary. OK, got that.

“All this discussion of the faults of Rahul Gandhi , Sonia Gandhi and
anyone else who is not in power at present will not deflect the
attention of people from the shortcomings of those in power.”

Given the enormous effort you and your ilk are making in trying to re-establish some measure of popularity for the above dirtbags, precisely with a view to increasing their chances of coming back to power, their faults and failures are highly relevant. People must not be fooled into thinking that the current government are complete failures and that Congress, despite several long decades of systematic failures and wilful neglect that you try hard to whitewash, have magically become a better option. That isn’t deflecting “attention of people from the shortcomings of those in power”, it is highlighting the even greater shortcomings and deceptive nature of those who want to (re-)take that power, and the fate of the people should that ever happen. Inconvenient for you I know – tough cheese.

I could be giving you too much credit (I’m a generous guy), but quite possibly, underneath all the hollow guff you excrete on public fora, you are fully aware that you are on a hiding to nothing.

“Modi and the present BJP government came to power with a mandate to deliver on their election promises. Unless you can prove that Rahul Gandhi , Sonia Gandhi and the rest of the Opposition is preventing Modi and the BJP government in their efforts to fulfill their commitments to the people of this country , no amount of discrediting the Gandhis or the Opposition will hold water.”

Ah, the irony of people for whom blatant, shameless lying is a staple diet, suddenly placing demands of “proof” for the bleeding obvious on everyone else. Still, when someone has invested so much in projecting the claim that grass is red when everyone else can see it’s green, no amount of evidence will suffice as “proof”, the demand for which merely becomes a device for yet more desperate, mendacious distraction.

“If the Gandhis are absolutely black in their sins , Modi and the BJP are not pristine white in their purity ; they are probably a shade lighter , that’s all. The BJP should stop this holier than thou attitude , and start cleaning up their house before throwing mud at others. Before you know it , it will be 2019 , and the BJP will have nothing to show for it.”

I’m sure BJP and their supporters are touched by your concern. Sorry, “concern” is not the right word – “wishful thinking” is the phrase I was looking for. You of course didn’t specify your ultimate dream, which no doubt depicts your favourite crackhead re-purposing the PM’s desk as his favourite snorting platform in 2019. Having said this, I agree that Modi is running the risk of not being re-elected in 2019. He has to show commitment to ridding the country of scum like you, and in that regard he is clearly failing miserably.

“As it is , all of the good news on the economic front is to a great
extent because of the fall in oil prices ; neither has manufacturing

Of all the posts you have prolifically produced from the malodorous depths of your overactive rectum, I have yet to see one where you didn’t place pontificatory demands for “proof”, and complaints about “opinion being stated as fact”, directly alongside your own brazen disregard for the same standards. It takes a special kind of intelligence to be an *effective* lying, shameless hypocrite, and your kind don’t have what it takes.

As I’ve said for a long time, honest debate with these cockroaches is a waste of time since they aren’t here for that. Ultimately, the engagement they require is a firm boot to the head. But this particular insect is employing the new technique of trying to appear reasonable and “objective” while injecting the same old poison from the side. It’s lipstick on a pig, but Hindus are generally quick to reciprocate even fraudulent examples of reasonableness and good-nature with the same. People need to learn quickly not to be swayed by these fake shows of “fair-mindedness”.
