Why Trump Haters Could Well End Up Making Him President

Trump Haters could paradoxically end up making him even more powerful.

If you switched on the TV for the first time in ages last week, then you could be forgiven for thinking that America’s Donald Trump had declared World War 3 and millions are going to die soon. Checking CNN in the morning, afternoon, evening or night you would have seen a different angle on how to bash Trump for daring to say that Muslims shouldn’t enter America.

Here’s the thing: There’s an outside chance that Trump may become a Republican candidate for president and another outside chance that he may win. However if he does emerge victorious, then there’s zero chance that he can implement such a far-fetched scheme in today’s day and age.

But that hasn’t stopped editors and liberals all over the world from absolutely frothing at the mouth at the very mention of his name. Trump is being attacked 24X7. Everyone wants a piece of the Bash Trump Pie. An e-petition to ban him from entering the UK got a record half-a-million signatures. Now their Parliament will at least have to discuss this.

trumpIndian Shenaz Treasury clicked a picture of her posterior on social media and asked Trump to kiss her ***. A cartoon showed Trump beheading the Statue of Liberty and one person predictably called him Hitler. How many people did Hitler kill? 11 million died in concentration camps and Hitler kicked off World War 2 which saw 70 million deaths. How many people has Trump killed? Zero when last checked. How many laws has he implemented that will actually discriminate? Zero when last checked.

(Godwin’s Law: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1. The Left-Right Godwin’s Law: The probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1 at the very beginning when the Left accuses someone from the Right!)

In fact if anyone can claim to have matched Hitler in terms of deaths in the twentieth century then it is Russia’s Josef Stalin and China’s Mao Zedong. But both are absolute darlings of the Left. Red intellectuals praise Mao and Stalin who killed millions and rubbish Trump over a single comment.

Bottom line: For these folks—mere words are more powerful than actual deeds. US President Barack Obama has been fiddling while West Asia was burning throughout his presidency. Iraq has been torn apart. Syria is seeing a catastrophic civil war. Both are plagued by the Islamic State.

Yemen is being bombed. There have been blasts in Lebanon and even Saudi Arabia. Iran’s nuclear status is wary despite the deal. But then Obama’s words are so so so good that you can forget all his bad deeds. Hell he even has a Nobel Peace Prize for talking all fancy!

George W Bush launched a meaningless Iraq War which cumulatively saw the loss of a million lives. He was hated and criticized, but the outrage he got absolutely pales that surrounding Trump for one remark.

You can kill a million and eventually it will be forgotten, but if you make a goofy proclamation then you will be absolutely plastered in the media and intellectual space in this Instant Age 24X7. (Especially if you happen to be from the Right)

Is it any surprise then that Trump’s stock among Republican voters has just soared? He is still leading the Republican race and most of his supporters seem to agree with him. Many must be feeling sympathy for him due to his intense persecution in the media.

The media’s job is to merely report the happenings of the globe but instead they live in a make-believe world and try to brainwash their viewers accordingly. The Left-leaning section that admires Stalin-Mao is even more delusional.

More importantly, it appears that the world has amnesia when it comes to such things happening in the past and pretending that all this so-called “hate” is just a new phenomenon. Such exclusions were possible once upon a time and were indeed carried out, though it would be extremely difficult to do such a thing today.

US President Chester Arthur signed the Chinese Exclusion Act in 1882 prohibiting the immigration of all Chinese labourers. (Few have even heard of his name)

The United States Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1917 which excluded more Asian countries to the above list and banned the following undesirables: homosexuals, idiots, feeble-minded persons, epileptics, alcoholics, polygamists… (A really long list actually!)

President Franklin D Roosevelt ordered the forced relocation and incarceration of up to 120,000 people of Japanese origin as punishment for the Pearl Harbour attack of 1942. What did those poor innocent people ever do? That you were a US citizen didn’t mean much.

One recent analyst even called FDR a “Trump on steroids” but this aspect of his presidency is rarely brought up.

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 could keep out even “suspected subversives” and those denied entry included legends like Gabriel García Márquez, Graham Greene, Michel Foucault and Pablo Neruda.

President Jimmy Carter banned Iranian immigrants and deported Iranian students in 1980 as retaliation for the Iran hostage crisis.

Coming to 2015, a whopping 30 odd US Governors said that they wouldn’t welcome Syrian refugees in their States. Unlike Trump, they happen to be in power. But even this is rhetoric for it is doubtful that they can actually implement such a thing.

As you can see Trump’s way of thinking is not isolated in America and moreover, his election campaign bombast could have been considered for legislation in the past but it is doubtful he’ll get anywhere in 2017 (when the next President takes over).

In fact, 17 Islamic countries already do not allow Israeli passport holders to enter their territory. Some reserve the right to reject visas to those citizens who even visit Israel. Any outrage here, then? What have the common Israeli citizens done who came to their current country after years of persecution elsewhere?

Coming back to trump’s presidential campaign, rival Hillary Clinton and Democrat laughed at Trump when he made that statement. She also laughed at Obama in 2008 and we all know how that turned out, so she’d better be careful!

apNow there is talk of the Republicans going in for something called a “brokered convention” to keep Trump out should he emerge as the frontrunner at the end. The high and mighty of the world just don’t get it.

Decades back if you controlled a few newspapers and TV channels, then you could dictate the conversation. Not anymore. Today social media can have mainstream media for breakfast any time it wants to.

If Trump is popular among Republican voters and other leaders try to pull the rug from his feet, the brown stuff will hit the fan on Twitter and then spread elsewhere like wildfire.

Finally, as they say: There is no such thing as bad publicity.

All this 24X7 media coverage and attacks on Trump could well backfire.

Trump Haters could paradoxically end up making him even more powerful.

This is what happens when you impose extreme left government and views (thanks 2 Obama, hilary camp) on a centre right american population. Leaders like Trump are created who act as voice of general public frustration. It’s time for an overhaul in american politics to align with aspirations of the general population – not the aspirations of the editors of NYT, Washington Post or anchors @CNN!!

Some comments on the Republican Presidential Debate, hosted by CNN, yesterday.

    Commentators on NYT wrote:

    Earthling from Washington, DC wrote:

Last night, I heard strong consensus on the stage to elect Kim Jong Un as the next Republican presidential candidate. As examples – killing the family of your enemy(Cruz and Trump), cutting off the internet (Marco and Trump), spying on your own people (Marco, Cruz and Fiorina), talking tough to your enemies (all of them) – Kim Jong Un of North Korea has a consistent track record of enacting the policies Republican primary voters value most.

    Pilgrim from New England stated:

Watching the Republican political debate is like watching a train wreck in slow motion. This whole entire party is going off a cliff. The election is about a year away from now so we’ve got the next 11 months to be inundated with this election ego preening and teleprompting boondoggle. The tv and radio ads are atrocious. Who can out muscle or bomb ISIS and keep you family safe. Competitive fear mongering. Good grief. As if there is nothing else to cover or going on in this ever changing world, the media’s focus and attention on this spectacle is unending and nauseating. And why the heck is Jeb still here keeping a podium warm? This is the best America has to offer up for the highest office in our nation?

    DE from Arizona said:

Same old red meat to the extreme base; boring. Not one of them can win a general election. No Hispanic or minority appeal, no economic message– fear, bash President Obama, bash Hilary Clinton. Inside group fights. Totally boring. Whatever happened to a sense of dignity and appeal to the better side of Americans? An embarrassment.

    Murphy’s Law from Vermont noted:

March 4, 1933, FDR inaugural speech, “the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself”.

All the Republican candidates need to review that speech.

Those participating in last night’s debate were all fear mongers.

John Clark from Hollywood, California mused:

So where was the most contentious issue of the day in this debate, the GUN ownership issue? Where did these candidates stand? Not asked, not answered? Just another indication of CNN’s Hollywood approach to the evening’s entertainment. Let’s avoid REAL controversy, and control content. And I say this as someone who actually lives in real Hollywood, California.

Come on guys get practical. I’ll hand it to Trump, he is married to a very nice woman who is not just beautiful but actually a very loving person. Hopefully she’ll make him less “Aaaaahhhh….they are all Jihadists….they are all Jihadists”. Come on guys.

Trump speaks passionately from his heart (a heart that seems to about chronic hyper vigilance)…but he is zero on specifics and content. I also know he is actually a nice guy trying to act tough and macho. Maybe it is the electorate that he is speaking to, or thinks he is speaking to. I met a nice Pakistani, working in real estate in New York, who admires Trump. Trump told him once “You guys (Pakistan) might have been better off with India, uh?”. And that kid thought that was funny and fine. Come on dude, nobody wants to annex Pakistan. And Pakistan will be a burden to a developing nation like India. We just want the Jihadists to go away. Lets be realistic, practical and sensible. Pakistan needs to be held accountable for its training of Jihadists and its Madrassas. Pakistan needs to work with India, and for India, for regional security, economic development and regional peace. And reining in Pakistan will help the US, Europe, India, China, Russia and the world. Pakistan has become a pariah country. And it is entirely Pakistan’s fault. Who the heck wants to annex Pakistan? Maybe Pakistan. This is what we should be saying to Pakistan: “Get off our backyard dude, go home and treat your women well…and be nice to us. We are economically struggling too.” Nobody wants to annex Pakistan…back or front!

Also, what about global justice, global employment and more regulations for businesses that might be polluting our air, water, soil, our food supply…? Drugs that are better tested and are better regulated? Sustainable energy? US is already free from ME oil. By 2020 America might have oil to export. No kidding. Where is India on this? India is zero on this. We need to get energy independent. It is what will differentiate civilized progressive society from those that will end up in dark ages in 21st century.

Okay…I am a progressive liberal. So what? Lot of feminists believe Hilary will slaughter Trump in any and every debate. :))

Most of your comment is a delusional rant devoid of any logic or facts. For starters US is NOT already free from ME oil. In the previous year, US imported 16% of oil from the region. SO check your facts and don’t believe what hilary tells you blindly, use your brain. But hey don’t logic and reasoning come in the way of a good rant! typical fibral!!!

      • Dr. MS

And you are so brainy you follow Trump. It depends on what you mean by “oil”. If you are talking about petroleum then yes. Petroleum includes crude oil, natural gas plant liquids, liquefied refinery gases, refined petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel fuel, and biofuels including ethanol and bio diesel

The United States exported about 4 MMb/d of crude oil and petroleum products in 2014, resulting in net imports (imports minus exports) of about 5 MMb/d in 2014, Net imports accounted for 27% of the petroleum consumed in the United States, the lowest annual average since 1985.

The top five source countries of U.S. petroleum imports in 2014 were Canada, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Iraq.

The information is from US EIA or just EIA.

        • BalancedCentre

It does seem like you are either ignorant, or just plain stupid. First off I never said I follow trump so you can’t even read properly. Now about the oil imports, your lie is still exposed because US is NOT free of ME oil imports as you had claimed in your earlier comment “US is already free from ME oil. By 2020 America might have oil to export. No kidding…”

FYI for you – the self styled Braniac, it doesn’t matter if you look at crude oil OR crude oil with related petroleum products, US is NOT free of ME oil imports. Some data from EIA for your consideration:
US Crude Oil imports from Persian Gulf/ME Nations – Approx 1,500,000 Thousand Barrels
Total US Crude Oil imports (from all countries) – 2,680,626. Thousand Barrels

Hope you can do the math, that’s more than 50% of Crude oil imports from ME region. Your delusional rant devoid of any common sense and logic is once again exposed. It stands to reason that Fibrals like you are intellectually challenged and due to your incapability to analyze properly, you imagine some half-baked and delusional scenarios completely out of touch with reality. It stands to also reason that is why American foreign policy has been a bigger blunder under the Democrats.

  • RightWingSr

He wil win Primary & General Election. We will see to it. We are ALL voting in the Primaries and Caucusing and every single one of us are Volunteering to be a Delegate. We have it nailed. Might as well give him the key to the Whte House today. We are as confident of him as his critics are not. He will make America Better-For even the Dems and the Establishment, which is ironic, considering the Dems have made our lives hell these past years.

    • 2broke4 her

he might win the peoples vote, what about the electoral college and how they vote? same with the delegates that nominate the presidential candidates… when Hillary ran against Obama and she won the popular votes the super delegates nominated Obama instead of Hillary, she was shocked as some were.. so if trump still wins the popular votes , the super delegates can still blindside him!

  • Alex

well written. it is the reason I believe he will win

A very interesting point of analysis (which even Trump’s supporters can take up) is to find see how many muslims have applied for visa and how many of them got it since 9/11. My feeling is that it will be a very very low percentage. Even genuine work visas from big Indian IT companies get rejected is the applicant is a muslim. I know of a personal example where a non-muslim ended up doing double onsite rotation in the US as his reliever’s visa got rejected (because he was a muslim). So, controlling/reducing/preventing muslims from entering the US is already a reality. All the US news channels which are screaming at Trump would do well to study this and point out to the people in power that the government should increase the intake of muslims into their country whether for work or as tourists. It is a sorry state of affairs as it is !!

    • Savarkar’s Disciple

They have always had very strict measures with respect to VISA and post 9/11 its true that Muslims find it even more difficult to get a US Visa.Actually media does not highligh about how the US and many Western Secular Nations already have many discriminatory laws.People who visit those nations or live there know the reality for instance in France the Hindu Marriages are not recognised by the state.

  • Savarkar’s Disciple

Trump is after all a Politician if he wins I hope he does what he said with regards to Muslims if the US implements anti Muhammadian Laws that will help us deal with our Muslim problems in India. We should use the same discriminatory laws against the Muhammadians that the West implements under the pretext of Our Nation also being Secular HAHA wouldn’t that be a kick in the junk for all those stupid morons who were supporting SICKULARISM.

    • अहं ब्रह्म अस्मि

What to talk of discriminatory laws, we haven’t been able to extend our “secular” laws, case in point: UCC. Demographics of some states have already changed beyond redemption, for instance, in Assam, a Bangladeshi migrant, Maluala Ajmal (AIUDF) might become a key player in deciding the next CM. And, we have been able to do zilch about it.
On a different note, I don’t even know how to fix this problem now, considering that the physical attributes & language is quite similar, and that they have been issued voter IDs.

      • Savarkar’s Disciple

I know what your saying and I am also worried about the same. You know sometimes a middle path or status quo is not good enough I fear the worst I cant even tell you how much I am worried that these parts being taken away by these Muslims.I know your very well read and you follow RMs works do you really feel that such states can be somehow stopped from Balkanization by a Non Violent path? I see too much bloodshed n I guess this is what happens when follow complete NON VIOLENCE.

        • अहं ब्रह्म अस्मि
          • Savarkar’s Disciple

Its implication in Bengal will be much more difficult as the language is the same and many secularists know the block voting tendencies of these guys,I some how feel BJP still has a chance in Assam but in West Bengal I dont see them coming to power.

          • अहं ब्रह्म अस्मि

I don’t know mate. It’s going to be very tricky in both the states, exactly because of the so called “minority” vote consolidation.

          • Savarkar’s Disciple

I feel its easier in Assam coz I feel Assamese want to get rid of this Bangladeshi problem but Bengali Hindus are still beating around the bush and might not vote for BJP.
